2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado Upper Tailgate Molding
Factory-style upper tailgate trim that replaces the OEM molding with hard panel construction. Direct fit for your truck bed opening. Designed for straightforward installation at existing mounting points.
Does this bolt straight to the factory mounting points?
Yes — the molding uses existing factory anchor tabs. You'll need fasteners appropriate for your truck's bed construction, but no drilling or frame modification is required.
Will this molding need paint before installation?
Check the condition when it arrives. If you want color match, sand lightly, prime, and paint to your truck's code. If you're keeping original finish, wipe clean and install as-is.
What fasteners or adhesive should I use?
Fastener type depends on your truck's tailgate material and bed construction — test-fit first to confirm your anchor method. Stainless hardware is recommended for corrosion resistance.
