1981-1991 Chevrolet Blazer Dash Cover Overlay ABS
ABS dash overlay that sits over your factory dashboard to hide cracks, sun damage, and wear. Designed as a direct-fit panel for straightforward installation. Hard panel construction resists warping and holds up to UV exposure and temperature swings.
Does this cover require adhesive to install, or does it use clips?
Installation method is designed for DIY mounting with basic hand tools. Test-fit first to confirm your preferred fastening approach — some buyers use contact cement, others prefer mechanical fasteners at factory points. Both work depending on your dash condition.
Can I paint this overlay after installation?
Yes. ABS accepts primer and paint well. If you want color match or a finished look, prep with light scuff and primer before painting, or have it painted before install — either way works. Some buyers leave it as-molded for a stock appearance.
Will this fit if my dashboard already has cracks in it?
This overlay is designed to sit on top of the existing dash, so minor cracks won't prevent installation. Major cracks or severe warping in the OEM dash may create gaps between the overlay and mounting surface — inspect your dash first and plan fastening accordingly.
