Universal Truck Trailer Tool Box w/ Lock & Key Aluminum 42x18x17
Lockable aluminum storage that bolts to any truck bed or trailer frame. Hard panel aluminum construction with dual keys keeps tools and gear secured during transport. Compact footprint fits standard bed rails without eating bed space.
Does this box come with mounting hardware for my truck bed?
Hardware is not included — you'll need to source bolts, washers, and brackets to match your bed rail or frame attachment points. Test-fit the box against your truck first to confirm bolt hole alignment before purchasing fasteners.
Will the aluminum need primer or paint before I install it?
The aluminum comes ready to mount as-is. If you want to paint or powder-coat it for color matching, sand the surface lightly and use a primer rated for non-ferrous metals, then topcoat with automotive paint.
Can I access the box from the top, or does it open from the side?
Opening orientation is not specified in the product data — contact support or refer to the manufacturer diagram when you receive it to confirm lid placement before mounting.
