Do I need to seal or tape the connections where these pipes join?
The clamps seal the connection points when tightened properly. If you're running boost pressure, apply thread sealant tape to any threaded fittings before assembly for added security against leaks.
Can I paint these pipes or should they stay bare aluminum?
Aluminum takes paint well if you scuff the surface lightly first. Many builders leave them bare for the finished look, but primer and paint work fine if you prefer color-matching to your engine bay.
Will these fit my car's existing intercooler setup?
