TU-15A Cylinder Pressure Meter for Diesel Engines
Measure diesel compression directly with this dedicated cylinder pressure diagnostic tool. Built for quick, accurate readings on diesel powerplants. Compact gauge design fits tight engine bays and connects via standard adapter fittings.
Do I need any extra adapters to fit my diesel's glow plug or injector port?
The kit comes with standard adapters, but thread size varies by engine. Verify your port diameter before connecting — you may need a conversion fitting from your local parts store.
Can I use this on a gasoline engine?
No. This meter is calibrated specifically for diesel compression ranges. Using it on gasoline engines will give unreliable readings.
What should I do if I get an inconsistent reading across cylinders?
Uneven pressure points to worn rings, valve sealing issues, or head gasket trouble. A drop of 10–15% from the highest to lowest cylinder typically indicates internal wear — check your engine's service manual for acceptable variance limits.
