99-13 GMC Sierra 1500 Trailer Hitch
Bolt-on receiver hitch rated for towing and hauling without frame modification. Heavy-duty steel construction designed for direct attachment to existing mounting points. Accepts standard 1.25" receiver tubes and accessories.
Does this need to be painted before I install it?
Steel hitches benefit from paint or protective coating to prevent rust, especially if exposed to moisture. Plan for prep and coating before or immediately after installation.
What bolts and hardware do I need for installation?
The hitch mounts at factory points, but fastener specifications aren't included with the unit. Consult your vehicle's service manual or a qualified installer for bolt size, torque specs, and any locking washers or threadlocker needed.
Can I install this myself with basic tools?
Installation involves unbolting and bolting components at existing frame locations—straightforward for someone with mechanical experience. A lift or jack is helpful but not required if you work carefully underneath the vehicle.
