99-04 Ford Mustang Power Steering Tank Aluminum
Direct aluminum replacement reservoir for '99–'04 Mustang power steering systems. Designed as a bolt-in swap for OEM units, this tank handles full system pressure and fluid capacity. Aluminum construction resists corrosion and dissipates heat more effectively than plastic tanks.
Will this bolt directly into my car, or do I need to modify the mounting?
This tank mounts at factory attachment points — no drilling or welding required. Verify existing hose and fitting connections match before installation.
Does this come with hoses or a cap?
Tank assembly only. Reuse your existing hoses, cap, and filler neck if they're in good condition; order replacements separately if leaking or degraded.
Should I flush the system before swapping in this tank?
Flush old fluid and lines first to avoid contamination in the new aluminum tank. Fresh fluid prevents buildup and extends tank life.
