90-99 Toyota Celica GT/GTS Exhaust Header Gasket - 5S-FE Engine
OEM-style exhaust header gasket engineered for the 5S-FE engine in 90s Celicas. Prevents exhaust leaks at the manifold-to-head interface where heat cycling causes seal failure. Built to handle repeated thermal stress without degradation.
Do I need a new gasket every time I remove the header?
Yes. Header gaskets are one-time seals — compression and heat cycling destroy the seal face once disturbed. Install fresh every time you pull the manifold or header.
What prep is needed before installation?
Clean both the manifold and head mating surfaces with a gasket scraper to remove all old material and carbon. Wipe clean with a degreaser. A smooth, debris-free surface ensures proper seal.
Will this gasket work if I'm upgrading to an aftermarket header?
Aftermarket headers typically use their own gaskets sized for their specific port design. Confirm your header's specifications before ordering — this gasket is cut for OEM manifold geometry only.
