88-00 Honda Civic/CRX/Del Sol D-Series SOHC Exhaust Header Gasket
Seals the joint between your D-Series header and cylinder head to prevent exhaust leaks. This gasket handles high heat and compression cycles without degrading. Direct fit for SOHC applications—no modification needed.
Do I need new bolts to install this, or can I reuse the header bolts I take out?
You can reuse the original header bolts. Just clean the threads and apply a light coat of high-temp anti-seize before reinstalling to prevent corrosion and make future removal easier.
Do I need to sand or prep the surfaces before laying down this gasket?
Light cleaning with a wire brush or scotch pad on both the header flange and cylinder head face will help the gasket seat properly. Don't over-sand—just remove loose carbon and old gasket material so you have a clean, flat surface.
What's the return window if this gasket doesn't seal properly after install?
Check our return policy on the checkout page for specifics. If you've installed it and it leaks due to a defect, contact customer service with photos of the leak and your proof of purchase—we'll work through it from there.
