87-06 Jeep Wrangler Tubular Rear Bumper Guard - Chrome
Welded tubular steel construction protects your rear end from trail damage and low-speed contact. Chrome finish resists corrosion and pairs with factory styling. Built for the 87–06 Wrangler and ready to mount.
Will this clear my trailer hitch?
This bumper guard mounts at the factory rear frame points and sits in the stock bumper location. If you're running a hitch receiver, test-fit before final fastening to confirm clearance with your specific receiver height.
Can I paint over the chrome, or do I need to keep it shiny?
Chrome can be painted, but you'll want to scuff the finish first for adhesion. Most builders leave it chrome to save labor. If you go the paint route, treat it like any chrome-to-paint job—light sanding and primer work best.
What hardware do I need to bolt this on?
The guard uses factory rear bumper mounting holes. Verify bolt size and type against your Wrangler's service manual before ordering fasteners separately—specifications vary slightly across the 87–06 range.
