60x40 Aluminum Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Black
Heavy-duty aluminum construction carries gear securely on your roof. The open-frame design lets you strap down exactly what you need—luggage, coolers, gear boxes, or cargo you can't fit inside. Powder-coated black finish resists weather and UV exposure.
Do I need mounting hardware to install this?
This basket mounts to an existing roof rack system. Hardware for attachment to your specific roof rack is not included—verify your roof rack's mounting point compatibility before ordering.
Can I use ratchet straps to secure cargo in the basket?
Yes. The open-frame design is built for standard tie-down methods. Use roof racks with integrated crossbars for the cleanest mount, and whatever strap or bungee system works best for your load.
Does the powder coat need any prep or maintenance after delivery?
The finish ships ready to install. No priming or painting required. Rinse with fresh water periodically if exposed to salt spray or heavy dirt to keep the black finish looking clean.
