2015-2019 Chevrolet Colorado Hard Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover
Three-panel hard tonneau cover with a tri-fold design that opens from the cab forward. Built for secure truck bed protection with a low-profile footprint when closed. Designed for DIY installation with basic hand tools.
Do I need any fasteners or clamps to install this?
Installation hardware is not included with the tonneau cover assembly. You'll need to source mounting hardware appropriate for your truck bed — typically clamps or brackets designed for hard tonneau covers. Test-fit the cover at your mounting points before purchasing fasteners.
Can I paint this cover or does it need prep work?
The cover arrives unfinished. If you plan to paint, clean and lightly sand the surface first, then prime and paint according to your chosen product specs. If you prefer bare hard panels or a protective coating, that's an option too — just seal any exposed edges to prevent water intrusion.
How does the tri-fold opening work, and can I open just one panel?
The three panels fold toward the cab, one behind the other. You can fold back one panel for partial bed access, fold two for more room, or collapse all three fully against the cab. The locking mechanism secures the cover when closed — check your specific cover's latch design for daily operation details.
