2015-2018 Ford F-150 Tailgate Cover Cap - Textured Black
Hard-wearing textured black cap that mounts flush to your F-150 tailgate. Built from durable hard panel construction designed to handle truck life without cracking or fading. Finish is ready to bolt on—no prep work required.
Do I need to drill any holes or modify my tailgate to install this?
No. This cap is designed to mount at your truck's factory tailgate attachment points—no drilling or cutting required. You'll just need basic hand tools and fasteners compatible with your vehicle's factory hardware.
Can I paint or customize the textured black finish?
You can, but you don't have to. The textured black is ready to use out of the box. If you want a different color or gloss level, standard spray primer and automotive paint will adhere to this material—just test on a small area first.
What's the difference between this cap and the OEM tailgate?
This is a cover that sits on top of your existing tailgate, giving you a textured black appearance without replacing the factory gate. It protects the OEM surface underneath and can be removed if needed.
