2014-2018 Jeep Cherokee Rear Bumper Reinforcement Bar
Direct bolt-on rear bumper support that strengthens impact resistance without requiring welding or cutting. Hard panel construction designed to reinforce OEM mounting points and distribute collision forces across a wider contact area. Straightforward installation using factory attachment locations.
Will this interfere with a trailer hitch or cargo carrier?
Position and clearance depend on how your hitch is mounted relative to the bumper. Measure the hitch receiver location and test-fit the reinforcement bar before final installation to confirm compatibility with your setup.
Can I paint this before I install it?
Painting before installation is fine, but avoid getting paint on the mounting surface areas where the bar contacts the frame. Light sanding of contact points after painting will ensure a solid connection.
What tools do I need to install this?
Basic hand tools and a socket set for fasteners are sufficient. You'll be using factory bolt holes, so no special equipment is required — just follow standard tightening practices for structural mounting bolts.
