2013-2019 Mazda CX-5 Trailer Hitch
Class II receiver hitch rated for towing and cargo hauling on CX-5 crossovers. Bolt-to-frame construction integrates with existing mounting points for secure attachment. Accepts standard 1.25-inch receiver-mount accessories.
Will I need to drill into the frame to install this?
No. This hitch mounts at factory points on the frame — bolt straight to the existing holes. You'll need basic hand tools and a torque wrench to spec.
What size ball and hitch pin does this accept?
The receiver opening is 1.25 inches, so any standard 1.25-inch hitch ball, pin, and lock assembly will fit. Check your towing setup's weight requirements against your vehicle's manual.
Does this come with a cover or protective cap?
Hitch receiver assembly only — cover and ball hardware sold separately. Most drivers add a basic receiver plug to keep road debris out when not in use.
