2006-2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse Catback Exhaust Single Burnt Tip Stainless Steel
Stainless steel catback system with a burnt tip finish that bolts on behind the catalytic converter. Built for durability and corrosion resistance, this exhaust replaces the factory muffler and rear piping in one piece. Direct bolt-on design means you're keeping the factory catalytic converter and front pipe intact.
Do I need to remove anything besides the factory muffler?
Catback systems replace the muffler and rear piping as one unit. You'll unbolt the factory muffler and hangers, then bolt this system to the existing mounting points and catalytic converter. Your front pipe stays untouched.
Will this require any welding or cutting?
No welding or cutting. This is a bolt-on catback — it connects at factory connection points and uses existing hangers and brackets to suspend from the undercarriage.
What condition does the burnt tip arrive in?
The tip comes darkened (burnt finish) as manufactured. No additional finishing, polishing, or prep is needed before installation.
