2006-2010 Jeep Commander Trailer Hitch
Bolt-on hitch receiver for towing and hauling on your Commander. Heavy-duty steel construction rated for the demands of family outings or gear transport. Mounts securely to existing frame attachment points without modification.
Will I need to drill or modify my frame to install this?
No. This hitch uses factory mounting points on your Commander — bolt it on without cutting or drilling. You'll need basic hand tools and a jack to access the mounting location underneath.
What do I need to install it myself?
Socket set, wrench, jack, and jack stands. Hardware for final assembly isn't confirmed with this listing — verify what fasteners come in the box before you start, and grab a torque wrench if you have one to spec the bolts correctly.
Does this hitch need paint or rust treatment before installation?
It ships with a corrosion-resistant finish, so you can install it as-is. If you want added protection, light surface prep and a coat of chassis paint won't hurt, especially if you're in a salty climate.
