2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt / Pontiac G5 2.2L Catback Exhaust Stainless Steel
Stainless steel catback system built to flow better and sound meaner than stock. Designed for the 2.2L engine with full bolt-on installation at the catalytic converter. Corrosion-resistant construction means this exhaust handles road salt and daily abuse without degrading.
Do I need to remove the factory catalytic converter or buy new hardware?
This system bolts directly at the catalytic converter — no cat removal. You'll want to grab a new exhaust gasket and bolts when you install, since the originals typically won't reuse cleanly.
Will this fit my car if it's been modified or has an aftermarket intake?
The catback bolts at a fixed point, so intake mods won't affect fitment. If your downpipe or catalytic converter has been swapped, test-fit before final assembly to confirm clearance.
Does the system ship with a muffler or just piping?
It's a complete catback assembly ready to bolt on — piping, muffler, and hangers included. No additional components needed to go from box to installed.
