2.50" 90 Degree Silicone Hose 3-Ply Red Elbow
High-temp silicone elbow designed to handle coolant, turbo, and intercooler plumbing with consistent flow direction changes. Three-ply reinforced construction resists collapse under pressure and vibration. Red silicone bonds well to clamps and won't degrade in engine bay heat cycles.
Do I need hose clamps to install this?
Yes. Silicone hoses require clamps at both ends — step them down gradually to seat the hose evenly and prevent pinching. Worm-drive or band clamps work best on this diameter.
Will this hose work with my existing fittings?
This is a bare hose elbow with no fittings attached. It slides over rigid tubing or barbed fittings depending on your plumbing layout — measure your hardline OD and confirm fit before assembly.
Can I use this for both coolant and boost lines?
Silicone handles coolant, vacuum, and turbo boost lines well. Confirm your system pressure rating and coolant chemistry compatibility — some older long-life coolants can degrade silicone faster than standard glycol mixes.
