1997-2003 Ford F150 XL/XLT Front Grille Assembly Matte Black
Direct bolt-on matte black grille replaces your factory unit in minutes. Hard panel construction delivers a clean, finished look that's ready to install. No cutting, no modification to mounting points — this fits right where your OEM grille sits.
Will this bolt straight onto my truck, or do I need new hardware?
This uses your factory mounting points — no custom hardware needed. You may reuse your existing fasteners if they're in good condition, or source OEM replacements if yours are stripped or corroded.
Does the matte black finish need prep or protection before install?
The finish ships ready to mount. If you want added UV protection or durability, a clear coat is optional but not required. Avoid rough handling during install to prevent scratches.
What if the grille doesn't align perfectly with my bumper?
Test-fit before fully tightening fasteners. Minor panel gaps are common with aftermarket grilles — shim with thin spacers or adjust mounting points slightly if needed. If alignment is significantly off, contact support with photos.
