1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner AC Condenser - Aluminum
Direct-fit aluminum condenser engineered to restore cold air flow on 4Runners from the mid-90s to early 2000s. Built with aluminum core construction for durability and efficient heat rejection. Designed as a bolt-in replacement for aging or failed OEM units.
Does this bolt directly to the factory mounting points?
Yes. This condenser uses the original mounting locations — no drilling or fabrication required. Line up the bolt holes and torque to spec per your service manual.
Will I need new refrigerant line fittings or O-rings?
That depends on the condition of your existing lines. If your old lines are serviceable, you can reuse them. If they're corroded or damaged, have a shop pull new lines — trying to force worn fittings onto a new condenser will cause leaks.
What prep is needed before installation?
No special prep on the condenser itself — it arrives ready to install. On your vehicle, flush any debris from the cooling path and inspect the radiator support for damage before mounting. A clean install prevents airflow restriction.
