1984-1992 Chevrolet Camaro Molded Dash Cap Cover Overlay ABS
ABS molded dash cap that sits over your factory dashboard, covering wear and UV damage without removal. Direct fit overlay designed for bolt-on installation. Hard panel construction resists warping and maintains shape through temperature swings.
Do I need to remove the factory dashboard to install this?
No — this is an overlay piece that sits on top of your existing dash and fastens at factory mounting points. Installation is bolt-on; your original dash stays in place.
Can I paint this or does it need primer first?
ABS can be painted, but test-fit the cover first to confirm final positioning. If you're painting, sand lightly, apply plastic-rated primer, then topcoat. Exact prep steps depend on your paint product — follow the manufacturer's guidance.
What hardware do I need to mount this?
Mounting method is designed for factory dash attachment points. Confirm your vehicle's original fastener type and size before ordering — you may reuse existing hardware or source new fasteners to match your dash panel.
