15-18 Ford F-150 Flex Step Tailgate Cover Cap Set - 2PCS Black
Two-piece tailgate caps that mount to factory flex steps for a finished, protective look. Hard panel construction in black, designed to cover the step area and reduce water intrusion. Fits without modification to existing tailgate hardware.
Do these caps use factory mounting points or require new holes?
These mount at factory flex step points — no drilling needed. They bolt to the existing step geometry on your tailgate.
Will I need to prep or paint these before installation?
They arrive in finished black — ready to bolt on as-is. If you want to match a custom color or apply clear coat for additional protection, standard automotive prep and paint methods work fine.
Can I remove these later without damaging the tailgate?
Yes. Since they bolt to factory mounting points, removal is straightforward and leaves no permanent marks. Keep the hardware for reinstallation or reuse elsewhere.
