01-02 Kia Rio OEM Radiator - Automatic Transmission Models
Factory Kia Rio radiator for automatic transmission equipped vehicles, direct replacement for 2001–2002 models. Built to original equipment specifications, this radiator handles cooling system demands without modification. Designed as a plug-and-play swap for automatic-only applications.
Will this radiator work on my manual transmission Rio?
No — this assembly is engineered specifically for automatic transmission models. Manual transmission Rios use a different cooling circuit. Verify your transmission type before ordering.
Do I need to drain the entire cooling system before installation?
Yes. Drain your existing coolant completely, remove the old radiator from its mounting brackets, and disconnect the upper and lower hoses. Installation reverses the process — reconnect hoses, bolt to factory points, and refill with fresh coolant.
What condition is this radiator in — can I use it immediately?
This is a factory new OEM assembly. It ships ready to install with no prep work needed. Simply mount it and connect your hoses.
